Hiker Blog Taking Guest Posts
I’m taking guest posts, primarily hiking and outdoor content but if you pitch something that would benefit older hikers I’m willing to hear your pitch.
NOTE: I will absolutely not take posts that use AI to write or create any portion of the article. You can use it to assist yet the final product cannot be AI.
I will also not accept posts that simply want a backlink. I’m looking for people truly looking to create community and have a website themselves that benefits those that read it.
What I’m Looking for in a Guest Post
- First hand knowledge of your topic in hiking, outdoors or a complimentary topic that would benefit older hikers.
- 800-2000 words
- Photos that are your own no larger than 1000px on any one side
- Formatted with headings
- You can include one link to your site or an article from your site that does not lead to a product
- A short biography with a link to your site
- Original work that is published nowhere else online
- Respect all copyrights. You must own or have permission to use the text and images.

What I need in the email:
- A short introduction
- A link to your blog or website
- Three to five article ideas
- A brief explanation of your firsthand experience with each topic
- Subject should be “guest post”
