I never imagined I’d be setting personal goals at 53.
If you had asked the 20-, 30-, or even 40-year-old me what life would look like in my 50s, I would’ve laughed and said, “By then, I’ll have my shit together. I won’t need goals—I’ll be living the dream.”
Well… I was wrong.
What I’ve learned is this: as long as we’re alive, we should be growing—mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. I didn’t always think this way, and maybe that’s why I ended up here—broke, exhausted, and not feeling great in my body.
So this year, I’m going big. I’m setting extreme personal goals for myself. Not just to survive, but to thrive.
